Passing of John Madden

January 15th, 2022|

Our condolences go out to NHTA president Dan Madden and his family on the passing of his father, John F. Madden this past Monday at the age of 97. Many may remember Mr. Madden as a New Hampshire trapshooter in the 1990’s and 2000’s, and would often visit state shoots with his son after he stopped shooting. A wake will be held on Thursday, January 20th from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, and funeral service will be held this coming Friday, January 21st starting at 11:00 AM. Passing of Dennis DeVaux

We are truly heartbroken to report that our friend from Vermont, Dennis DeVaux died this morning – a victim of a tragic automobile/pedestrian accident. Dennis was a true ambassador of our sport, the Vermont ATA Delegate, and a member of the Vermont Trapshooting Hall of Fame. He will be missed greatly by all who knew him. When arrangements are known, we will post an update.

Our purpose is to furnish recreational entertainment for New Hampshire citizens interested in trapshooting, and to foster the principles of good fellowship, good sportsmanship, and a higher standard of marksmanship among our members.
