By NHTA tradition, the Friday preliminaries carry the names of the defending state champions. Steve Szczechura won the 2025 Singles title, Joe Fichtner the Handicap, and Nick Gibbs the Doubles.

Friday Feature · Friday, July 24

The SOS Clays Silver Shootout

Play the $10 option on any or all of Friday's events to qualify for the shootout drawing. Playing the option on multiple events Friday increases your chances of being drawn.

Immediately after all events are settled on Friday, 20 randomly drawn participants who played the option will shoot off for silver. Participants shoot 2 targets at each post (total of 10) from the handicap yardage at which they are classified for the tournament. The shootout continues until the winners are determined. Must be present to participate.

New England Team Race

The Granite State Cup

State teams from New England are invited to participate. 5-person teams compete in the All-Around program (Events 4, 5 & 6) to be eligible.

Individual trophies will be awarded to each winning team member.

All-Around Added Money

All-Around (Events 4, 5, 6): $125 added. $75 to Resident Champion, $50 to Resident Runner-Up.

Out-of-State Shooters

The State Shoot is held in Massachusetts

Burlington is across the state line. If you are not a Massachusetts resident, know the MA rules for transporting firearms and ammunition before you travel.

MA Gun Law Guidance

Practice

The club will be open for practice starting Thursday afternoon and will have a practice field available throughout the tournament.

Kitchen

Kitchen will be open Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM.

Camping

Plenty of space for campers. Limited number of sites with electricity & water. $65 camping fee for the duration of the tournament. Please call for reservations. Limited water fill-ups available during off-hours for those camping without hookups.

Vendors welcome. $50 vendor fee for the tournament. Please call for reservations.

The 2026 Shoot Pin

Honoring John Callamaro

Londonderry, NH

The initials on this year's shoot pin honor John Callamaro, a New Hampshire trapshooter and longtime resident of Londonderry, NH. John served in the United States Navy as a naval aviator, and after his service to our country made a career as captain with TWA. Between 1993 and 2012, John registered 24,950 singles, 11,950 handicap, and 11,400 doubles targets, and was the Veteran Singles Champion at the 2003 New Hampshire State Shoot.
